"Growing Roots, Echando Raices" Lunae Jewels Catwalk as part por Toronto Women's Craft Show.

"Growing Roots, Echando Raices,” its the 2017 edition of Lunae Jewels non-conventional Catwalk. The current theme of this exhibition is related to the importance of how we root ourselves as integrated beings on this new home that is Canada, and from that grounded place how we reach out to pursue and fulfill our dreams. From a place of personal recognition and honouring, we engage with the outer world creating opportunities to express ourselves to our fullest potential in all aspects of life. Either through a personal triumph or a professional achievement, we women, wonderful and exquisitely diverse women, stand whole and as an important part of a community, a country, and this planet.

From my perspective as the Creative Director, a non-conventional Jewelry Catwalk is that where the models are genuine and daring women from our local community. They are usually non profesional models, perhaps never even had modelled before, or perhaps they have some previous stage performing experience, but the most important point is that they are not only strong and self confident, but also greatly talented in what they do and extraordinarily beautiful. They are not part of the conventional Fashion Industry world rather they express themselves in a more grassroots and alternative kind of way.

The models of this catwalk are gorgeous women that are themselves leaving an important print not only in their work places but also on their personal lives as part of their local community. They are real and genuine women at work and at play, living their lives to the fullest. They all will be creating a dynamic movement of playful and synergistic energy on stage, presenting themselves to the world and wearing a Healing companion from Lunae Jewels that enhances their own style in a holistic way. Professional Artists, Activists, Ecologists, Therapists, Business women, Social workers, Mothers, exquisitely unique and gorgeous in their own way. We honour ourselves just the way we are, with our different body shapes, sizes, colours, spices and flavours!
